A graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey, Steve Maher began his career with Penn Mutual Life in New York, where he gained experience assisting clients with life and health insurance, fixed annuities, and estate planning. After ten years with the company, Steve Maher relocated to New Jersey and established his own company, Maher Financial Services.
As president and CEO of the firm, he manages more than $45 million in assets for his clients and provides custom investment guidance on products such as mutual funds and fixed annuities. Licensed in 10 states, he holds three securities licenses. Mr. Maher is the recipient of professional accolades including the Life Underwriters Training Award, the Award of Excellence from American Portfolios, and the National Sales Achievement Award. From 2009 to 2019, he received the prestigious Stars Club Award with Jackson National.
Throughout his career, he has been a member of professional organizations such as the Million Dollar Round Table and the AIM Summit Club.
